The Wenatchee Area

Just one mile from downtown in the heart of central Washington State, we’re known as “The Apple Capital of the World.” Our four distinct seasons, 300 days of sunshine per year, and a river running right through town are the right ingredients for producing delicious fruit from our orchards. And that’s just the beginning; two dozen crops flourish here, from apricots to watermelons.  Whether your stay is for play or for work, we’re glad you’re in north central Washington and hope you’ll make this hotel your base. Our friendly staff serves up a delicious free Bright Side Breakfast® daily. We’re 100% non-smoking, pet-friendly, and have lots of modern amenities for your comfort as value-added extras.

Our lovely valley is rich in agriculture. Due to our unique location where the Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers converge in the eastern foothills of the Cascades Mountains, vineyards and farmlands abound. Geographically speaking, we’re the core of the apple in Washington State: Seattle is 138 miles west and Spokane is 168 miles east. Among the national forests throughout Central Washington, Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest is one of the nation’s most visited. From Lake Chelan in the north, it extends 135 miles to the Yakima Indian Reservation at its southern end. These 4 million acres offer every sort of outdoor recreational activity right through all seasons of the year. Sights and delights range from mushroom gathering, to 360-degree panoramas from old lookout towers, to celebrating thousands of wildflowers of interest.

Local Area Attractions

Come in the spring for our Apple Blossom Festival, or in the autumn to pick your own apples at harvest time. Arrive in summer to experience the serenity of water features and rock sculptures at Ohme Gardens, or try us out in winter to whoosh down the slopes of Mission Ridge beneath the jagged slopes of the Cascades, only 20 minutes from downtown. Right in town, appreciate the waterways at Riverfront Park and on the 10-mile Apple Capital Loop Trail, a highly rated bike path along the Columbia River. Browse the Phybus Market, a Saturday morning must where the locals gather for coffee and conversation. Book a live performance on the stage of the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center and enjoy the great atmosphere of an evening in the Northwest.
